Saturday was spent getting familiar with the presses, and learning the essentials of typesetting. Sunday was full-on print action!<br /><br />Flat cards were the unanimous decision (as opposed to folded cards) so everyone was able to create an edition of 70 cards + envelopes. The theme of the workshop was hair styles. In addition to printing instructions, other facets of letterpress printing were discussed; such as modern use of the letterpress technology, polymer plates, resources, and materials.<br /><br />The plan was to have each student design and print their own set of 30 folded cards.
